The Star Sydney to increase capacity to 10,000
The Australian casino is to increase its capacity as New South Wales relaxes Covid-19 countermeasures from February 12.
Australia.- The Star Entertainment Group is preparing to increase its capacity to 10,000 customers in accordance with a relaxation of Covid-19 countermeasures in New South Wales.
Last month, the company was able to increase the capacity at its flagship Sydney venue to 5,000. The new measures will allow up to one person per two square metres.
This increased flexibility comes as the latest government figures show no new locally transmitted cases of Covid-19.
Customers will also no longer be required to wear masks in gaming rooms at the casino, which will be able to return to a situation similar to the measures under which it operated between December 7 and 20.
