Spintec Aura enters Asian market with Macau’s Studio City installation
Slovenian game developer has installed four of its Spintec Aura cabinets at Melco’s Studio City resort in Macau.
Macau.- Asia Pioneer Entertainment Holdings Ltd (APE) has announced the deployment of its Spintec Aura standalone virtual multigame cabinet at Studio City, a Macau gaming property run by Melco Resorts and Entertainment Ltd.
According to a statement from APE, a total of four cabinets have been installed including two on Studio City’s VIP gaming floor and two on the mass gaming floor. “Customised game themes and cabinet colours are embedded for the VIP gaming floor,” APE added.
The firm said this was the “first time” it had installed its Spintec Aura cabinet at a casino in Asia.
Spintec describes the Aura gaming terminal as “ideal” for “amphitheatre” setups – sometimes also referred to as “stadium” configurations – whereby multiple gaming terminals are arranged in a horseshoe pattern on the casino floor. Aura can also be used in an island format or as a standalone station, according to the Slovenian firm.
