SkyCity will only allow vaccinated people to enter its casinos

SkyCity has decided to allow only vaccinated customers to enter its casinos. It will require Covid-19 vaccination certificates for entry to all SkyCity venues in New Zealand.

According to Michael Ahearne, SkyCity’s CEO, the casino operator has the highest available levels of protection against Covid-19 in place and is meeting its legal obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 but he said research had confirmed that “Covid-19 vaccines will provide the best protection for our staff and customers.”

He added: “SkyCity expects the CVC requirement will cover all employees (around 2,900), customers, contractors and visitors at our New Zealand sites to protect them from the harmful effects of Covid-19.”
