SJM Resorts completes Mid-Autumn Outreach Programme in Macau
The Mid-Autumn initiative mobilised nearly 100 volunteer person-trips and reached 850 households and social welfare institutions across Macau.
Macau.- Casino operator SJM Resorts has completed its 2026 “SJM Spreading Warmth Mid-Autumn Outreach Programme”. Running from September 1 to 24, the initiative saw volunteers visit 850 households and various social welfare institutions. The team distributed festive gift packs to residents, including single-parent families, low-income households, and elderly people living alone.
The outreach covered a wide array of social organisations, including the Child Protection Centre of Against Child Abuse (Macau) Association, the Macau Down Syndrome Association, Macau Special Olympics, Escola De S. José De Ká-Hó, and the Macau Association of the Hearing Impaired.
As part of its ongoing monthly “My ElderFriend Programme” with the Macau Holy House of Mercy, SJM volunteers visited the Our Lady of Mercy Home to host traditional handicraft workshops and riddle games. On September 13, SJM collaborated with Caritas Macau youth to organise musical performances and games for residents at Asilo de Betânia.
