Thailand.- SDY Sports has signed an agreement with the Italian football club Inter Milan to become its betting partner in Asia.
It has agreed to a two-year contract as the club’s official Asian gaming partner of the club, without product exclusivity.
The brand will appear across Asia on LED boards around the pitch during Inter’s home games at the Stadio San Siro. The boards are equipped with geolocation technology adopted by the club this season.
Inter described the Thai firm as “an emerging company in the online gaming industry in Asia.”
It said that the agreement includes a series of marketing initiatives that will be unveiled over the course of the season.
SDY’s CEO, Darwin Guo, said: “Inter is one of the most popular football clubs on the planet with a strong international fanbase so this partnership is a major success for SDY Sports.
“We’re delighted to see the SDY SPORTS brand associated with one of the world’s biggest teams and we’re looking forward to developing exclusive activities for Nerazzurri fans with the club.”
Sponsorship deals between Asian betting firms and mayor European football clubs are becoming ever more frequent. Macau operator LT recently signed a deal with England’s Aston Villa.
