Sands China names Patrick Dumont as non-executive director
Dumont has been the president, COO and treasurer of Las Vegas Sands since 2021.
Macau.- Sands China’s board of directors has announced the appointment of Patrick Sydney Dumont as a non-executive director of company, effective August 8. Dumont has been the president, chief operating officer and treasurer of Las Vegas Sands (LVS) since January 2021.

Dumont has been a director of LVS since April 2017, president of LVS (Nevada) International Holdings (LVS Nevada) since February 2021, and treasurer of LVS Nevada and a director of Venetian Venture Development Intermediate II (VVDI II) since December 2013.
He previously worked as LVS’ executive vice president and chief financial officer from March 2016 until January 2021, LVS’ principal financial officer since February 2016 and senior vice president, finance and strategy from September 2013 through February 2016. He was LVS’ vice president, corporate strategy from June 2010 until August 2013.
Dumont has also served as the governor of NBA’s Dallas Mavericks since December 2023. He will have no specific term of appointment, and will be subject to retirement by rotation and re-election at the annual general meeting at least once every three years.
Sands China’s financial results for the first quarter of the year show net revenue of US$1.70bn, down 5.7 per cent when compared to last year. Net income was US$202m, down 32 per cent year-on-year.
