Genting Singapore appoints new president and COO

The company has announced a series of senior management changes.

Singapore.- Genting Singapore has announced the appointment of Lee Shi Ruh as the company’s president and chief operating officer, effective from August 1. Shi Ruh has been president of Resorts World at Sentosa (RWS) since September of 2023 and CEO since June of this year. She was previously CFO of Genting Singapore from 2010.

The promotion comes as part of a leadership renewal led by executive chairman and acting CEO Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay. According to the company’s filing, Lee will be tasked with overseeing strategic execution, operational performance and sustainable growth across the group. She will report directly to Lim Kok Thay.

Meanwhile, Ang Suat Ching, currently CFO of Resorts World at Sentosa, has been appointed CFO of Genting Singapore, replacing Lee. The company also confirmed that Nanami Kasasaki has stepped down from her role as chief corporate officer and as a director of RWS.
