PhilWeb Q2 profit jumps 237% as digital gaming gains momentum
The company’s digital expansion followed accreditation from PAGCOR in March.
The Philippines.- PhilWeb Corporation’s net income rose 237 per cent quarter-on-quarter to PHP47m (US$767,423) in the second quarter of 2026, supported by higher revenue from its digital gaming solutions business. The Philippine gaming technology company has reported that revenue for the three months ended June 30 increased 96 per cent year-on-year and 51 per cent from the previous quarter to PHP352.4m (US$5.75m).
Digital Gaming Solutions was the largest contributor, generating PHP200.3m (US$3.27m) in revenue. The business, which covers PhilWeb’s interactive gaming platform and game-content distribution activities, saw revenue increase 152 per cent quarter-on-quarter to represent 57 per cent of group revenue.
EBITDA rose to PHP51.5m (US$841,000), up 886 per cent year-on-year and 119 per cent quarter-on-quarter. The EBITDA margin increased to 15 per cent from 10 per cent in Q1.
For the first six months of 2026, PhilWeb recorded revenue of PHP585.4m (US$9.56m), an increase of 63 per cent from PHP358.6m (US$5.85m) in H1 2025. Net income reached PHP61m (US$996,000), reversing a PHP41.8m (US$682,000) loss in the prior-year period. First-half EBITDA rose to PHP75m (US$1.23m) from PHP2.2m (US$35,922).
Digital Gaming Solutions contributed PHP279.6m (US$4.57m) during the first half, helping offset declines in PhilWeb’s venue-based business.
PhilWeb’s digital expansion followed accreditation from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) in March, allowing the company to provide gaming affiliate and support services to licensed operators. It has since secured agreements covering online gaming platforms linked to operators including Hann Casino Resort, Okada Manila and Newport World Resorts.
The company also entered the game-content aggregation and distribution business, with deployments involving NUSTAR Online and PT Gaming during the first half. It announced content partnerships with Pragmatic Play and Games Global in July.
