Paradise Co sales dip in September
Casino sales reached US$64.5m in the ninth month of the year.
South Korea.- Paradise Co has shared its financial results for September, reporting casino revenue of KRW86.73bn (US$64.5m). That’s an increase of 38.2 per cent year-on-year but down 16.8 per cent from August’s record KRW104.3bn (US$77.6m).
Table-game sales were KRW81.1bn (US$60.4m), up 40.4 per cent year-on-year, but down 17.9 per cent month-to-month. Machine revenue grew by 12.6 per cent year-on-year and 3.2 per cent month-on-month to KRW5.6bn (US$4.20m). The table drop amounted to KRW605.11bn, up 6.6 per cent year-on-year.
For the first nine months of 2026, cumulative casino revenue reached KRW744.6bn (US$554m), up 10.8 per cent compared with the same period in 2025. Table sales increased 10.3 per cent to KRW697.29bn, while machine sales grew 19 per cent to KRW47.30bn. Cumulative table drop totalled KRW5.77trn (US$4.29bn) through September, up 8.1 per cent.
Paradise Co operates four casinos: Walkerhill in Seoul, Jeju Grand on Jeju Island, Busan Casino in the southern port city of Busan, and Paradise City, near the main international airport serving Seoul. A planned new hotel in Seoul has a target opening for 2028 as part of a strategy to attract more international high-rollers.
