Paradise Co revenue down 84% in September
Paradise Co has shared its financial results for September, revealing that casino revenue was down 84 per cent month-on-month to KRW9.55bn (US$8.04m).
South Korea.- The casino operator Paradise Co has reported that revenue for September was down 84 per cent month-on-month from KRW59.49bn (US$51.4m) to KRW9.55bn (US$8.04m). Revenue was down 53.6 per cent when compared to 2020.
The company posted an 86.4 per cent decline in table revenue from KRW57.49bn to KRW7.84bn when compared to August. The figure was down 58.3 per cent year-on-year.
Machine game revenue reached almost KRW1.72bn, down 13.9 per cent from August and down 4.5 per cent when compared to 2020.
For the first nine months of the year, Paradise Co’s revenue was KRW188.71bn, down 27.7 when compared to the same period in 2020 when it reached KRW261.04bn. Between January and September, table revenue was down 29.0 per cent to KRW171.31bn.
Machine-game revenue for the first nine months of the year was down 11.9 per cent compared to 2020, coming in at KRW17.39bn. In August, casino revenue rocketed 762.1 per cent month-on-month to KRW59.49bn (US$51.4m) as in July the company had been affected by Covid-19 restrictions.
