Paradise Co casino sales up 11.8% in March

Paradise Co has reported that casino sales grew 11.8 per cent month-on-month from KRW17.07bn to KRW19.02bn (US$15.6m).

South Korea.- Paradise Co has shared its financial results for the month of March, posting casino sales of KRW19.02bn (US$15.6m), a growth of 11.8 per cent when compared to February. However, revenue was down 15.8 per cent year-on-year. 

Table game sales were KRW16.90bn, up 10.4 per cent month-on-month but down 17.7 per cent when compared to the previous year. Machine game sales increased by 24.8 per cent month-on-month and 2.8 per cent year-on-year to KRW2.12bn.

For the first three months of 2022, the casino operator has reported revenue of KRW54.17bn, down 20.4 per cent year-on-year. In 2021, casino revenue was down 25.7 per cent when compared to the previous year, falling from KRW335.97bn to KRW249.76bn (US$208.8m).
