Nagasaki announced its Implementation Policy Draft

Japan.- Nagasaki prefecture announced last week its Implementation Policy Draft. It includes the plan of a possible IR and how they will select the operator. Local people can comment about the draft between 20 December 2019 to 17 January 2020 and the policy will be set on March.
The policy draft is about the whole business set by a local government that bids for IR: size of casino, hotel, expo hall, among other facilities, as well as issues of regulation, calendar and problem gambling.
The IR site area is 31 hectares within the Huis Ten Bosch theme park, and the adjacent port and public harbor areas are also being taken into consideration. It will have a hall for 12 thousand people.
There are three companies that are interested in developing the resort in Nagasaki. Japanese firm Current Corp, gaming operator Casinos Austria International Japan Inc and Oshidori International Development Ltd. According to GGRAsia, there is a fourth entity that doesn’t want to be public.
