MGM China names Jeny Lau as new CFO
Lau will oversee the group’s finance operations, including financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, and accounting across its gaming and non-gaming businesses.
Macau.- MGM China has named Jeny Lau as its new chief financial officer. The appointment will take effect tomorrow (August 1).
Lau has served as an executive director at MGM China since May 2023. She is also a director of MGM Grand Paradise, the subsidiary that holds the company’s Macau gaming concession, and sits on the Nomination, Environmental, Social and Governance Committee.
Before joining MGM China, Lau had a career in finance and corporate management in the property and investment sectors. She has been chief operating officer and director of Grand Paradise Group (HK) since 2015, having previously held senior roles at Phoenix Property Investors, where she managed finance, accounting, fund administration and project financing.
She also served as chief financial officer and executive director of Hong Kong-listed developer SOCAM Development before joining Shun Tak Holdings as director of corporate finance.
The appointment comes after MGM China reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of HK$8.63bn (US$1.10bn ), broadly in line with the corresponding period last year despite weaker conditions across Macau’s gaming market. The company operates the MGM Macau resort on the Macau Peninsula and MGM Cotai in the Cotai gaming district.
