MGM China announced a salary increase ranging from 2 per cent to 4.5 per cent for its eligible employees, effective March 23. The pay rise is “in recognition of their hard work and contribution to the company,” stated the firm. The salary increase will apply to 99 per cent of the staff.

Eligible employees earning a monthly base salary of up to MOP16,000 (US$1,992) will receive a pay rise of MOP500 per month, representing an increase of 2 per cent to 4.5 per cent. Eligible employees receiving a salary above the MOP16,000 threshold will be awarded a 2 per cent rise.
