The Macau junket investor has appointed its chief advisor Ray Lok as the chief operating officer.

China.- Meg-Star has appointed the group’s chief advisor Ray Lok as the new chief operating officer (COO).

Lok joined Meg-Star as the chief advisor to the VIP gaming brand in October last year. Before that, he served as vice president of electronic games at Galaxy Macau. He previously spent four years each at Macau’s Melco Resorts and Sands China as director of strategic marketing.

As a diversified service provider, Meg-Star Group covers high-end travel and VIP entertainment services, real estate, aircraft leasing, premium retail, IT, art, and food and beverages.

Through its charity arm, the company recently donated MOP$10 million (€1.1 million) to help in the fight against the coronavirus outbreak.
