Maybank expects Bloomberry to return to profit in 2027
Maybank expects Bloomberry Resorts to post a US$6.7m core net profit in 2027, after forecasting a US$37.6m loss for 2026.
The Philippines.- Bloomberry Resorts is expected to return to profitability in 2027, according to Maybank, which cites cost stabilisation and growth in its online platforms. It expects the operator to post a PHP420m (US$6.7m) net profit next year after a projected PHP2.36bn (US$37.6m) loss in 2026.
Bloomberry showed improvements during the first half of 2026, supported by cost management and strong operations. Solaire Resort Quezon City continues to gain momentum following its May 2024 launch, particularly in slot machine revenue, while the main Solaire Entertainment City property has seen higher VIP revenues, Maybank said. It expects EBITDA to grow by 30 per cent in 2026 and 25 per cent in 2027.
Maybank also cited growth in the FUNaloMax and Solaire Online platforms, which management hopes will represent 20 per cent of total revenue by late 2027.
