Macau: Casino Taipa to be used for quarantine
Three hotels will host those returning to Macau and entering the 14 day isolation period.
Macau.- Casino Taipa, located at the Regency Art Hotel and operated by SJM Holdings, will be used by the government to quarantine people arriving in Macau as part of measures to contain Coronavirus.
The Macau government has designated three local hotels as places for people returning to Macau to undergo the compulsory 14 day quarantine.
The Regency Art Hotel has 326 rooms that will be used as facility for medical observation, according to the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO).
The other two hotels being used for quarantine are the Golden Crown China Hotel – across the road from Macau International Airport – and the Pousada Marina Infante Hotel on Cotai.
Currently, Macau only allows its residents and people living in either mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to enter the city.
