Macau and SJM to host recruitment event for Cotai resort

The event will be held tomorrow (Friday) to recruit staff for SJM’s upcoming Grand Lisboa Palace.

Macau.- SJM and Macau’s Labour Affairs Bureau are to host a recruitment event for the operator’s Grand Lisboa Palace casino resort on Friday.

Job offers range from marketing roles to customer services. More roles will be advertised in the coming months as several parts of the resort are due for completion this year.

The bureau said in a press release: “The recruitment event is aimed at helping Macau residents in expanding their employment opportunities.”

Grand Lisboa Palace will be launched in phases starting in the first half of 2021 with the opening of the casino and 900 hotel rooms.

The opening will follow a weak Chinese New Year break with fewer visitors than expected.
