Lotte Tour sees Jeju Dream Tower casino sales rise in May
Casino sales increased by 52.5 per cent year-on-year.
South Korea.- Lotte Tour Development, the operator of Jeju Dream Tower casino, has reported that casino sales reached KRW41.36bn (US$30.1m) in May. That’s an increase of 52.5 per cent year-on-year and 25.8 per cent sequentially.
Table-game sales amounted to KRW39.39bn (US$28.7m), up 60.5 per cent in year-on-year terms and 26.6 per cent sequentially. Machine-game sales rose to KRW1.96bn (US$1.4m), down 23.5 per cent year-on-year but up 12 per cent sequentially. The casino table drop (KRW194.19bn) increased by 2.8 per cent from April and 77.8 per cent from last May.
Hotel sales reached KRW7.92bn (US$5.8m), an increase of 2.3 per cent year-on-year and of 11.3 per cent sequentially.
For the first five months of the year, casino sales were KRW158.78bn (US$115.7m), a 35.1 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2024. Hotel sales amounted to KRW29.13bn (US$21.2m), down 8.9 per cent. Casino drop was KRW802.71bn (US$58.4m), up 37 per cent year-on-year.
