Light & Wonder receives gaming vendor licence in the UAE
The company has been granted a licence by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA).
United Arab Emirates.- Light & Wonder has announced that it has been granted a gaming-related vendor licence by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The licence enables it to provide land-based electronic gaming machines, table games and igaming content to players of licenced operators in the UAE.

UAE Lottery becomes World Lottery Association member
The UAE Lottery, operated by The Game, recently announced its acceptance as a member of the World Lottery Association (WLA). It said the move marks a step forward in its international positioning and reinforces its dedication to global standards of integrity, responsible gaming and corporate responsibility.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) launched its first national lottery – and the first form of legal gambling –in November 2024. The Game received a lottery licence from the GCGRA in July 2024, and Smartplay International received a vendor licence in October 2024.
