Jeju Dream Tower casino sales up 7.5% year-on-year in August
Casino sales for the eighth month of the year reached US$33.7m.
South Korea.- Jeju Dream Tower, the foreign-only integrated resort operated by Lotte Tour Development on South Korea’s Jeju Island, has reported KRW46.22bn (US$31.3m) in revenue for August. That’s a rise of 7.5 per cent from August 2025 but down 10.4 per cent from the previous month.
Table games generated KRW43.49bn (US$31.7m), up 5.7 per cent year-on-year, but down 11.1 per cent month-on-month. Machine games revenue was KRW2.73bn (US$2m), up 49.5 per cent year-on-year and 1.4 per cent ahead of July. The sequential decline came despite a significant increase in betting volume.
Jeju Dream Tower’s hotel sales were KRW8.77bn (US$6.4m), flat sequentially, but up 4.9 per cent year-on-year. The property received 59,048 casino visitors in August, up 3.5 per cent year-on-year but down 5.8 per cent from July.
Casino sales at Jeju Dream Tower for the first eight months of 2026 stood at KRW363.56bn, up 29.4 per cent compared to the same period of 2025.
