Lotte Tour’s July casino revenue hits 2026 high
The casino attracted 62,706 visitors during the month, an increase of 10.6 per cent from July 2025.
South Korea.- Lotte Tour Development has reported its strongest casino performance of 2026 after gaming revenue at its foreigner-only Jeju Dream Tower casino climbed to KRW51.59bn (US$36.1m) in July. The total was 18.8 per cent higher than a year earlier and up by 5.8 per cent from June.
Growth was supported by both table games and slot machines. Table games generated KRW48.91bn (US$34.2m), while machine revenue rose to KRW2.69bn (US$1.9m). Hold rates also improved across both segments, with table games reaching 22.6 per cent, up from 21.0 per cent in June, while gaming machine hold increased to 5.7 per cent from 3.7 per cent.
The casino attracted 62,706 visitors during the month, an increase of 10.6 per cent from July 2025 and 2.6 per cent higher than June. It’s the second-highest monthly attendance since the casino opened in June 2021, behind the record set in May.
Hotel sales in July rose to KRW8.78bn (US$6.1m), up 11.3 per cent year-on-year and 9.4 per cent from the previous month. However, the table drop fell by 9.9 per cent year-on-year and 5.5 per cent from June to KRW216.76bn.
Over the first seven months of 2026, casino revenue reached KRW317.34bn, representing a 33.3 per cent year-on-year increase. Hotel revenue reached KRW49.71bn, a 13.4 per cent increase, while the cumulative table drop increased 13.1 per cent to KRW1.43tn.
Jeju continues to benefit from a recovery in international tourism. Foreign arrivals to the island have been rising, led by visitors from mainland China, while analysts have pointed to stronger inbound travel and improved air connectivity.
