Jade Entertainment reopens after 10 months
The sports betting firm has reopened in Okada and is preparing to reveal a new interactive platform in the Philippines.
The Philippines.- Jade Entertainment has relaunched Jade Sportsbet at Okada after a 10-month closure due to Covid-19 countermeasures.
The company is also getting ready to launch a new interactive platform.
It will include the professional bowlers’ association (PBA), volleyball, and worldwide competitions such as NBA, EPL Soccer, ATP and WTA Tennis, among others.
Jade Entertainment says it was making the transition to becoming a sportsbook provider with a focus on the Philippines market. It noted that this will give it full control over pricing strategy, which can be adjusted at short notice.
It said it is preparing to launch retail sites, self-service terminala, phone betting and online privileged betting.
Licensed operators
Jade Entertainment has been licensed by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) as a sportsbook service provider in the Philippines.
It has also been permitted to offer sports betting services to PAGCOR-licensed properties, including integrated resorts, casinos, VIP slot clubs, e-games and e-bingo outlets.
The regulator has granted large operators in the city licences to operate online casinos in a bid to increase gaming tax collection for Covid-19 relief efforts.
