International Entertainment bulks up LaVie Casino strategy with DigiPlus online gaming deal

The partnership is intended to support the integration of online and land-based gaming operations.

The Philippines.- International Entertainment Corp. (IEC), owner of LaVie Resort & Casino Manila, has announced that its Philippine subsidiary, New Coast Leisure Inc. (NCLI), has entered into an agreement with DigiPlus Interactive‘s Total Gamezone Xtreme Inc. (TGXI). The deal is intended to support the integration, aggregation and operation of online gaming content linked to the Manila property.

TGXI will provide game aggregation services, certified gaming content, software support, technical integration and operational expertise under an initial two-year agreement that will renew automatically unless either party opts not to extend it. IEC said the agreement would allow it to accelerate its entry into the Philippine online gaming sector by using DigiPlus’ established technology infrastructure rather than building a platform independently, reducing development time and operational costs while providing proven gaming systems and content.

The partnership remains subject to regulatory approvals and compliance requirements set by PAGCOR.

The move follows DigiPlus’ completion of the second tranche of its HK$1.6bn investment in IEC, a transaction that strengthened its relationship with the owner of LaVie Resort & Casino Manila, previously known as New Coast Hotel Manila.
