Hong Kong.- The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) has inaugurated the Jockey Club Nature Conservation Centre at Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG). The project was funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and aims to strengthen conservation research, public education and sustainability initiatives.

Located in Tai Po, the new centre will serve as a hub for conservation professionals, researchers, educators and the wider community. It will host a range of educational activities, workshops and exhibitions, offering hands-on learning focused on ecological preservation and sustainability.

HKJC said the project reflects its mission to create lasting social value beyond sports and entertainment. Environmental sustainability is a core pillar of the Charities Trust’s funding strategy, alongside community development and social inclusion.

The Nature Conservation Centre incorporates environmentally responsible architectural features and spaces aimed at encouraging engagement with nature.
