Emperor Entertainment has shared its financial results for the period from April to September 2021, revealing an improvement in gaming revenue.

Macau.- Emperor Casino Hotel Co., Ltd has reported that its net loss from April to September this year was slightly less than HK$84m (US$10.8m). This compares to a net loss of HK$141.8m in the same period last year.

Revenue more than doubled year-on-year to nearly HK$223.4m with the gaming revenue of central Macau properties increasing by 193.1 per cent to HK$149.7m. Mass market revenue was up 191.9 per cent to HK$108.6m, representing 72.5 per cent of the group’s total gaming revenue. VIP revenue was up 426.7 per cent to HK$31.6m.

In June, the company shared its financial results for the year ending March 31, reporting a net loss of HKD177.6m (US$22.9m). For the full-year, gaming revenue fell 77.4 per cent year-on-year to HKD209.1m. Mass-market gaming revenue declined by 78 per cent to HK$138m and VIP revenue 79.3 per cent. Slot machine revenue declined by 56.6 per cent.
