Crown Perth will remain closed until Feb 14

The only casino in Western Australia had previously announced a closure until the evening of February 5.

Australia.- Following a statement from the Western Australian Government, Crown Resorts has announced that the Crown Perth casino will remain closed until February 14.

It had previously announced a closure until the evening of February 5 but that will now be extended by nine days.

Hotel, food & beverage, banqueting and conference facilities will re-commence operations from 6am on Saturday (February 6) in accordance with temporary restrictions imposed by the Western Australian Government.

Despite no locally acquired cases of Covid-19 for 10 months, Perth has restricted circulation after a security guard working at a quarantine hotel tested positive for Covid-19.
