Crown Perth closes until April 27 in new Covid-19 lockdown

Crown Perth has closed its doors in line with Western Australian Government health directives.

Australia.- Crown Perth has announced its closure until April 27 as after Western Australia’s premier Mark McGowan announced a snap five-day lockdown because two people tested positive for Covid-19.

Most public spaces including pubs, restaurants, places of worship, libraries, cinemas, casino, theatres, restaurants and bars in the state will be closed until Tuesday April 27.

The only casino in Western Australia had previously closed its doors in February after a security guard working at a quarantine hotel tested positive for Covid-19.

According to the Ministry of Health, there are currently 2,255 active Covid-19 cases in Australia.
