City of Dreams Macau to offer first backstage tour of House of Dancing Water
Melco is opening behind-the-scenes access to its signature aquatic production.
Macau.- City of Dreams Macau is to launch its first House of Dancing Water Backstage Tour on July 15, offering visitors access to areas of the purpose-built theatre previously not accessible by the public. The initiative is designed to boost the integrated resort’s non-gaming entertainment offering and visitor engagement with one of Macau’s best-known live productions.
The approximately 30-minute guided tour will begin after the evening show on days that have two performances. Guests will be taken from the Golden Circle seating area and VVIP box through backstage facilities, including the underground diving area, where they will learn about the work of the show’s professional divers, technicians and maintenance teams.
The tour will also explain the engineering behind stage props such as the Golden Boat and Dream Pagoda and the the production’s 17-million-litre pool. A revamped House of Dancing Water returned to City of Dreams in May 2025 its pandemic hiatus. Since then, there have been more than 450 performances.
