Bloomberry launches online gaming platform MegaFUNalo

The platform offers free-to-play games, live shows and real-money prizes.

The Philippines.- Bloomberry Resorts has launched its online gaming platform MegaFUNalo. The platform offers free-to-play games, live shows and real-money prizes, in addition to free-to-watch movies. It includes digital versions of casino games such as poker, blackjack, roulette and baccarat, along with several arcade games.

The platform will compete with offerings from other electronic gaming licence holders, including DigiPlus Interactive Corp. Bloomberry has partnered with several banks and mobile wallet operators for the platform’s payment channels

“This all-new online entertainment platform is designed for Filipinos who want to have fun anytime, anywhere, with free-to-play games, live shows and real-money prizes all in one app,” it said on its website.

In April, the company’s chairman and CEO Enrique K. Razon Junior said this mainstream brand would complement Solaire Online and “bring our brand of online gaming entertainment to Filipinos nationwide.” The company launched Solaire Online in April 2021, offering live baccarat, sicbo and roulette games and live slots. The company’s shares rose by 18.4 per cent on Monday, closing at PHP5.92 (US$0.106).

Bloomberry GGR increases year-over-year in Q1

The casino operator reported first-quarter gross gaming revenue (GGR) of PHP16.8bn (US$301m), an increase of 14 per cent in year-on-year terms. The growth was mainly due to the performance of Solaire Resort North (SN), which is 10 months into its ramp up.

Net revenue was PHP14.4bn (US$257.9m), up 15 per cent from PHP12.5bn (US$223.86m) in the same period last year. Non-gaming revenue was PHP3bn (US$53.73m), an increase of 35 per cent.
