Bloomberry names Gregory Francis Hawkins as director, president and CEO
Hawkins previously served as the company’s acting chief operating officer.
The Philippines.- The board of directors of Bloomberry Resorts has announced the appointment of Gregory Francis Hawkins as director, president and chief operating officer (CEO). He had been named acting COO of Bloomberry Resorts in February.
Hawkins joined Bloomberry in November 2023 to head Solaire Resort North as chief operating officer (COO). In December 2024, he was appointed as acting COO of Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels (BRHI) to oversee both Solaire Resort North and Solaire Entertainment City.
Hawkins previously held senior roles in the Philippines, Macau, Australia, and New Zealand. In Macau, he served as president of Melco’s City of Dreams on the Cotai Strip and as CEO at boutique hotel-casino Altira, playing a role in pre-opening phases.
For the first quarter, Bloomberry reported gross gaming revenue (GGR) of PHP16.8bn (US$301m), an increase of 14 per cent in year-on-year terms. The growth was mainly due to the performance of Solaire Resort North (SN), which is 10 months into its ramp up.
The company recently launched its online gaming platform MegaFUNalo. The platform offers free-to-play games, live shows and real-money prizes, in addition to free-to-watch movies. It includes digital versions of casino games such as poker, blackjack, roulette and baccarat, along with several arcade games.
