Arizona: Casino Del Sol opens Tucson’s first retail sportsbook

US.- Casino Del Sol has announced it has opened Tucson’s first retail sports betting location. SolSports is a 4,000-square-foot venue with more than 60 TVs, including a high-definition video wall. Players can bet at six live ticket writer counters or eight self-service betting kiosks.
Chairman of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, Peter Yucupicio said: “Our ability to offer sports wagering to our guests has been many years in the making, and we are elated to see our vision come to fruition with SolSports. This new gaming option will have a positive economic impact on our tribe and the state of Arizona.”
Casino Del Sol CEO Kimberly Van Amburg commented: “Our team developed a truly fantastic environment for sports fans to enjoy all of the game day action, and we are thrilled to welcome Tucsonans to experience the excitement of in-person sports betting at SolSports.”
In August, Casino Del Sol launched new table games. The venue started offering live roulette, craps and mini-baccarat. Chairman of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe Peter Yucupicio rolled the dice in the first craps game during the launch.
