Virtual gaming expands across six African markets through GoldenRace-Bwinners deal

A six-market rollout will bring GoldenRace’s virtual gaming content to Bwinners’ channels in Senegal, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, Lesotho, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Senegal.- Virtual gaming is expanding across six African markets as Malta-based provider GoldenRace partners with betting operator Bwinners, bringing high-frequency number and Crash games to the operator’s retail and online network.

GoldenRace announced the deal in a press release, saying it covers Senegal, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, Lesotho, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The initial rollout focuses on high-frequency number and Crash games. GoldenRace said rising mobile use and demand for rapid-play content are helping drive the expansion.

The companies will also tailor the games to each market, including changes to game settings, frequency and features, while working on the way titles are presented to players.

GoldenRace said early performance data has highlighted significant traction for its Hit&Win Fortune Fighters title, which it said demonstrates demand for hybrid products across digital channels and land-based venues.

The companies are also preparing for further expansion, with geographic growth and hyper-localised content forming part of the partnership’s longer-term roadmap.

Martin Wachter, CEO and founder of GoldenRace, said the partnership reflected the importance of working with companies that understand regional market dynamics. Wachter said: “Africa remains one of the most exciting, high-potential regions for virtual gaming, but success requires working with partners who truly understand regional dynamics. Bwinners has built an impressive distribution infrastructure across six diverse markets.”

Wachter said combining Bwinners’ local retail and digital reach with GoldenRace’s tailored virtual content would provide a foundation for long-term, scalable growth.

Bwinners CEO Tzahi Asulin said GoldenRace’s virtual gaming portfolio aligned with the operator’s strategy. “Our target has always been to provide our players with the most engaging and reliable content on the market. GoldenRace’s virtual gaming portfolio fits our strategy perfectly.”

Asulin said the operator was already seeing traction with Fortune Fighters, alongside high engagement across number and Crash games, while working with GoldenRace to continually refine its offering across the six markets.
