Senegal’s lottery launches LONASE Way in digital gaming push
New platform developed with Jaap Senegal highlights LONASE’s drive to expand its digital gaming operations.
Senegal.- The National Lottery of Senegal (LONASE) has launched LONASE Way, a new online gaming platform developed in partnership with Jaap Senegal. The platform was officially unveiled during a ceremony in Dakar on June 8.
LONASE director general Toussaint Manga said the project reflects the organisation’s confidence in local expertise and its ability to develop solutions tailored to the country’s needs. “We are not only celebrating the launch of a new platform, but the triumph of local know-how, courage and resilience,” he said.
LONASE described LONASE Way as a “100 per cent Senegalese innovation” and a major step in the modernisation of its gaming offering. Manga said the initiative aligns with Senegal’s wider focus on sovereignty across key sectors. “In these times when sovereignty in all sectors is at the heart of the State’s orientations, every choice we make counts,” he said. “The future of gaming is online.”
The launch comes as LONASE seeks to expand its online gaming activities after historically concentrating much of its business through its retail network. “The future of gaming is online,” Manga said.
The development follows a series of partnership agreements signed in February 2026 to support the development of its online gaming activities.
