Tanzania.- The Gaming Board of Tanzania (GBT), under the leadership of its board chairperson, ambassador Modest Mero, has hosted a delegation from the Eswatini Gaming Control Board for a two-day learning visit.

The Eswatini delegation was headed by the board’s chairperson, Hon. Mandla Dlamini. The visit provides an opportunity for the two regulatory institutions to exchange experiences and learn from best practices in gaming regulation and oversight.

“The engagement underscores the importance of institutional cooperation and knowledge-sharing in strengthening regulatory frameworks, enhancing sector oversight, and promoting effective governance of the gaming industry,” the GBT said in a statement.

The visit follows a similar engagement in June, when the GBT hosted Kenya’s National Lottery Board to discuss lottery governance, regulatory frameworks, operational systems, technology oversight, compliance and public benefit management as Kenya progressed towards operationalising its National Lottery.
