Players receive second chance prizes in Uganda National Lottery

Every ticket now offers an extra opportunity to win cash prizes as the lottery’s Second Chance competition rewards participation across all games.

Uganda.- The Uganda National Lottery is currently promoting its Second Chance competition, offering players an extra shot at winning beyond the main lottery draws.

Marketed locally as the “Wangula Mu Second Chance”, the promotion automatically enters every eligible ticket purchased across the lottery’s games into a separate bonus draw. Players do not pay extra to participate, and even tickets that miss out on the primary jackpot remain in play, effectively creating two opportunities to win from a single purchase.

The initiative is part of the lottery’s broader strategy to boost participation and engagement in Uganda’s regulated gambling market. The lottery is operated by Ithuba Uganda under licence from the National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board.

The Uganda National Lottery said: “The Second Chance competition ensures that every ticket purchased gives players an extra opportunity to win, rewarding participation across all our games.”

Unlike short-term promotions, the Second Chance competition does not have a fixed end date and continues to run alongside regular lottery draws. The move is seen as a way to maximise winners, retain players and make every ticket count.

For Ugandans, every ticket now offers players an extra chance to win. Even if they don’t hit the main jackpot, they remain in the running through the Second Chance draw, adding more excitement and giving players another reason to keep participating.
