PariPesa appoints Zambian football icon Katongo as brand ambassador

Zambia.- Betting operator PariPesa has named Zambian football legend Christopher Katongo as its brand ambassador. In an official press release, PariPesa said Katongo’s leadership and reputation make him an ideal fit for the brand.
The company highlights his credentials as a Zambian football great, noting his role as captain of Chipolopolo’s 2012 AFCON victory, as well as additional accolades including the 2012 AFCON Best Player award and the 2012 BBC African Footballer of the Year.
With the partnership limited to Zambia, brand ambassador Katongo will feature in nationwide advertising and community outreach programmes throughout the country.
PariPesa stated that the agreement will help bolster its ongoing plans in Zambia, a country where it aims to become a leading operator in the betting industry.
