Morocco’s MDJS features Champions League Final in football betting offering
State-backed lottery and betting operator wrapped up a football offering with a special competition linked to European club football’s biggest match.
Morocco.- Morocco’s state-backed lottery and sports betting operator, La Marocaine des Jeux et des Sports (MDJS), has used the UEFA Champions League Final as the centrepiece of its May 2026 football betting offering through its Cote & Sport network.
The offering consisted of two football prediction competitions – the FS778 Fin de Semaine (Weekend) and S681 Concours Spécial (Special Competition) grids – offered through the operator’s Cote & Sport sports betting network.
The S681 Concours Spécial grid featured a selection of elite international football fixtures culminating in European club football’s showpiece final, one of the most-watched events in the global sporting calendar.
According to official MDJS materials, players were required to predict match outcomes using the traditional 1X2 format – home win, draw or away win. Rather than betting against fixed odds, participants competed within a national prize pool, with winnings distributed among those who successfully forecast the results.
The FS778 Fin de Semaine grid opened on May 23, followed by the S681 Concours Spécial on May 30. Players were also able to prepare selections digitally before validating entries through MDJS’s nationwide retail network.
MDJS is a key participant in Morocco’s regulated betting sector and contributes funding to the National Fund for Sports Development (FNDS), which supports sports federations, athlete development programmes and infrastructure projects across the country.
Beyond its betting operations, MDJS has continued to expand its presence within the broader sports ecosystem. Earlier this year, the organisation hosted the third edition of the Sportech Summit by MDJS in Rabat, bringing together stakeholders from the sports, technology and investment sectors to explore opportunities for innovation and growth.
Operating under the slogan “Faire Gagner Le Sport” (Helping Sport Win), MDJS said its mission is to support the development of sport while directing consumers towards a regulated and responsible betting environment.
