The first consultation day took place at its Aboisso agency on October 20, with discussions centred on training, product availability and challenges affecting agents and concessionaires.

The meeting was organised by LONACI’s Directorate for Sales and Network Management (DVGR), led by Pierre Kouassi, under the impetus of Director General Dramane Coulibaly. The consultation tour was led by Khalil Coulibaly, supervisor of the interior zones, accompanied by Sanogo Lassina, manager of LONACI’s gaming halls, and Itchy Léopaul, Aboisso Zone Manager. Khalil Coulibaly emphasised the importance of gathering feedback from commercial partners to understand the challenges they face and identify areas for improvement. “You are the main actors in our activities. It is therefore important to engage with you, gather your feedback from the field, and understand the difficulties encountered, what is working and what needs to be improved,” he said.

He added that the concerns raised would be analysed with his team to identify the causes of the difficulties and propose appropriate solutions. According to LONACI, the participating concessionaires welcomed the consultation approach and expressed satisfaction with the discussions.

The Aboisso meeting forms part of LONACI’s wider programme of decentralised consultation days across 15 zones in the interior of Côte d’Ivoire, as well as Abidjan. The initiative aims to strengthen ties with its partners and address challenges affecting the network.

LONACI intends to translate the consultations into tangible commercial results, including increased sales, higher revenue, and a more dynamic and profitable commercial network.
