South Africa.- Software provider Jelly Entertainment has been awarded a National Manufacturer Licence by the Eastern Cape Gambling Board (ECGB), allowing it to legally produce, sell and distribute gaming software across South Africa under regulated conditions.

The licence, officially issued on September 9, 2025, authorises Jelly Entertainment to operate as a comprehensive gaming software provider, covering manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, distribution, marketing, sales and importation.

Jelly prides itself on developing mobile-friendly games, such as slots, crash games and instant wins that perform well even under low bandwidth conditions. The new market access means that the company can now partner with approved operators and supply its full range of games through its proprietary remote gaming server in South Africa.

David Newstead, Jelly’s Chief Business Development Officer, said: “Securing our South African licence is a landmark moment for Jelly. It gives us the ability to work directly with leading operators and bring our content to players in one of the most exciting markets.

“Being granted a Manufacturer Licence in South Africa is a landmark achievement for Jelly. It gives us the foundation to work directly with leading operators and bring our innovative crash, slots and instant win content to one of the most exciting regulated markets in Africa.
