Guinea’s National Lottery receives certificate of satisfaction for social impact project
Recognition from NGO partner highlights LONAGUI’s financial support for a prosthesis initiative benefiting communities in need.
Guinea.- The National Lottery of Guinea (LONAGUI) has received formal recognition from its non-governmental organisation (NGO) partner for its role in supporting a social impact project in the country.
LONAGUI said it welcomed a delegation from Association for Social Cooperation and Solidarity (ACOSOF) as part of a healthcare-focused partnership with the NGO.
During the visit, ACOSOF formally expressed its appreciation to LONAGUI’s management and presented the operator with a certificate of satisfaction, recognising its contribution as a financial partner to the project “A gesture of hope for 10 Guineans”. The NGO said the lottery’s “decisive financial support” enabled the project to be carried out for the benefit of vulnerable people.
The project focuses on providing orthopaedic prostheses to ten beneficiaries, helping to improve mobility and quality of life through targeted medical support.
LONAGUI also reaffirmed its broader commitment to social impact, stating: “Through this partnership, we reaffirm our desire to transform our actions into concrete impacts, in the service of the well-being of the population.”
ACOSOF focuses on humanitarian and community-based work, particularly in healthcare and social welfare. LONAGUI operates as Guinea’s national lottery and supports public interest initiatives alongside its core gaming activities, reflecting a broader industry shift towards corporate social responsibility.
Through its partnership with ACOSOF, the lottery is contributing to improved access to essential healthcare services for communities in need.
