Globacom launches new lottery service with multi-million naira prizes

Nigeria.- Globacom Nigeria has launched a new lottery promotion called Glo Play Up, where subscribers can pick a single digit from 0 to 9 to win multi-million naira prizes.
The initiative, unveiled on November 5, 2025, is accessible via USSD by dialing *400# or by sending an SMS with the chosen digit to 400, with no app or data connection required. Each entry costs ₦100, and customers can play as many times as possible.
The selection will take place every Friday, with the first live draw having taken place on November 7, 2025 at Globacom’s Mike Adenuga Towers in Lagos. Ten winners from the pool of subscribers who correctly predict the winning number were awarded ₦1m (€597) each, credited directly to their MoneyMaster Wallets. At the end of every month, one lucky subscriber will be selected for a grand prize of ₦10m (€6,032).
Players who miss out on the big jackpots will receive a ₦500 airtime consolation prize every Friday if their chosen digit is one number away from the drawn ball.
