Officials from Ghana’s VAG and NLA met to enhance lottery operations and improve accessibility for players.

Ghana.- Executives from the Veterans Administration Ghana (VAG) met with the National Lottery Authority (NLA) to discuss ways to strengthen the VAG Lottery and its operations. The VAG Lottery, managed collaboratively by VAG and NLA, is undergoing efforts to modernise operations and improve accessibility for players across the country.

During the meeting, VAG Executive Director Seidu Mumuni Adams and his delegation met with NLA Director-General Mohammed Abdul-Salam. They discussed strategies to curb illegal lottery operations through enhanced monitoring, coordinated enforcement and public education.

The officials also explored opportunities for revenue growth, modernising technology, improving distribution channels and strengthening the lottery’s market presence.

The NLA highlighted the positive impact of the partnership. “We are committed to ensuring that all lottery activities in Ghana are conducted fairly and responsibly,” said the NLA.

The meeting concluded with both institutions reaffirming their commitment to deepening cooperation and implementing actionable steps to improve the VAG Lottery’s operations.

Abdul-Salam said: “Our efforts are aimed at protecting players and enhancing the overall integrity of the lottery industry.”

The meeting underscores VAG and NLA’s commitment to improving the VAG Lottery, ensuring fair play and enhancing the overall experience for players across the country.
