Ghana National Lottery ensures fair play as GH₵1.2m Telecel Jackpot is claimed
NLA-supervised Caritas Platform awards GH₵1.2m grand prize in Telecel 2 Moorch Money Promotion, highlighting transparency and life-changing rewards.
Ghana.- Ghana’s National Lottery (NLA) has reaffirmed its commitment to transparency in gaming after supervising the awarding of a GH₵1.2m(€115,000) grand prize in the Telecel 2 Moorch Money Promotion, a three-month campaign that concluded on October 6. The jackpot was presented to the winner during a ceremony on October 13.
The grand prize went to Samuel Essel, who emerged as the top winner in the nationwide promotion. The NLA, through its Caritas Lottery Platform, oversaw the draw and verification process to ensure fairness and accountability throughout the campaign.
The NLA described the 2 Moorch Money Promotion as a supervised consumer campaign. The NLA said: “The Caritas Platform, powered by the National Lottery Authority (NLA), ensures that all games of chance and its associated promotional activities are played transparently.”

The promotion, sponsored by mobile network operator Telecel, rewarded customers who participated through everyday transactions such as airtime top-ups. Weekly draws kept engagement high, culminating in the GH₵1.2m grand prize.
The NLA’s involvement underscores the growing importance of regulated consumer promotions in Ghana’s gaming sector, where such initiatives blend entertainment with meaningful economic rewards.
