Gaming Realms expands into Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana through SportyBet partnership
Slingo supplier strengthens presence across three of Africa’s largest regulated betting markets through SportyBet deal.
Nigeria.- Gaming Realms has expanded into Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana through a new partnership with SportyBet, extending the reach of its Slingo portfolio across three of Africa’s largest regulated betting markets.
SportyBet customers in the three markets can now access a range of Slingo titles, including Slingo Sweet Bonanza, Slingo Day of the Dab and Slingo Xxxtreme, according to a Gaming Realms announcement on June 2.
The launch comes just weeks after the supplier entered South Africa through a partnership with Hollywoodbets, further increasing its presence on a continent that is attracting growing interest from international gaming companies.
Slingo, Gaming Realms’ flagship product, combines the number-matching mechanics of bingo with the spinning reels and bonus features of slot games. The hybrid format has become one of the supplier’s most recognisable offerings and has helped drive its expansion across regulated markets worldwide.
The agreement gives Gaming Realms access to three key African jurisdictions while broadening SportyBet’s gaming catalogue with content that has already established a strong following in multiple markets.
Laura Norton, account manager at Gaming Realms, said in a press release: “Entering three new African markets at once together with SportyBet is a fantastic achievement for the Gaming Realms team. We are encouraged by the initial performance and are confident our unique content is appealing to SportyBet’s local customers and look forward to a successful partnership.”
Gaming Realms said the rollout forms part of its broader plans to increase its presence across regulated jurisdictions globally, with Africa emerging as an important region in its growth strategy.
Joey Hurtado, director of Casino at SportyBet, said SportyBet viewed becoming the first operator to launch Gaming Realms’ content in three of its core African markets as a major coup. Hurtado added: “Their product offering provides something truly different and this collaboration helps us deliver on our promise to offer our customers a best-in-class entertainment experience.”
