Côte d’Ivoire’s National Lottery sets 2027 budget priorities
LONACI has started work on its 2027 budget, balancing priority investments with efficiency, resource management and development.
Côte d’Ivoire.- Côte d’Ivoire’s National Lottery (LONACI) has begun preparing its 2027 budget, with investment, resource optimisation and operational efficiency among the priorities under consideration.
The national lottery held a budgetary conference on September 10 at its Council Hall to examine the proposed 2027 budget, in line with the strategic direction set by Director General Dramane Coulibaly.
The meeting brought together heads of LONACI’s different directorates to review budget proposals, assess identified needs and make the necessary budgetary trade-offs. The proceedings were led by Dominique M’Bahia, Director of Social Action.
LONACI said: “The discussions focused on project hierarchisation, optimal allocation of resources, and finding a balance between priority investments, operational efficiency, and cost control.”
Driving sustainable performance
The lottery said it wants the 2027 budget to support its development ambitions while strengthening strategic planning and its performance culture. LONACI added: “The goal is to make the budget a true tool for steering, performance, and transformation, capable of supporting the development ambitions of LONACI.”
LONACI said each proposal should be assessed according to its potential to create value and contribute to the organisation’s objectives, so that the resources mobilised produce the greatest possible impact.
The process is expected to result in a budget proposal aligned with the strategic direction of LONACI’s management and the operational priorities of its different entities. The September 10 conference marks a further step in LONACI’s preparation of its 2027 budget.
