ChopLife Gaming launches ChopWIN online casino platform in The Gambia
The company now holds licences in 11 jurisdictions and operates in nine African markets.
The Gambia.- ChopLife Gaming Ltd has announced the launch of its online casino platform, ChopWIN, in The Gambia. The launch was commemorated with an event in Banjul, which brought together representatives from government agencies, telecommunications firms, payment providers and media organisations.
Discussions at the event focused on the structure of The Gambia’s gaming sector, regulatory oversight and the role of digital platforms in expanding access to gambling services.
According to Jolie M. Roland, Head of Brand Experience at ChopLife Gaming, the company currently holds licences in 11 jurisdictions and operates in nine African markets. She said the approval granted by Gambian authorities reflects regulatory confidence in the company’s compliance systems and operational model.
The platform will operate under the oversight of the Gambia Tourism Board and other designated authorities responsible for monitoring gambling activities in the jurisdiction. Pierrette Mendy Sarr, Legal and Compliance Director at the Gambia Tourism Board, said authorities are prioritising safeguards to limit underage participation and reduce gambling-related harm. She noted that licensed operators are expected to implement controls in line with national responsible gaming policies.
ChopLife Gaming said its platform uses verification systems that prevent access by users below the legal gambling age. Operations Manager Duroseme Taylor noted that these measures form part of internal compliance requirements tied to its licences.
As part of its local engagement strategy, the company has partnered with the Serrekunda East Sports Development Committee. The collaboration will focus on sports development at the community level and broader social impact initiatives.
