We look forward to continuing our partnership and launching soon in the DRC. The technical and promotions teams have been instrumental to this success,” said Wazaa Bet, according to EEGaming.

QTech Games strategy highlighted

QTech Games highlighted the strategic approach behind the partnership, emphasising local expertise and content-driven growth in Sierra Leone.

Agatha Wanjugu, QTech Games’ Sales Manager for the region, said: “It’s a privilege to be selected by a brand as respected as Wazaa Bet. Our approach combines great content with hyper-local market knowledge to drive sustainable growth. In high-growth regions like Sierra Leone, understanding player behaviour, mobile usage and local preferences is key.”

Wanjugu added that QTech’s platform gives Wazaa Bet access to a broad portfolio of content, and these early Q1 results demonstrate the effectiveness of their strategy.

The rollout is part of a broader strategy to tailor content and player experience to the Sierra Leone market, leveraging data-driven technologyy and a regional team to maximise engagement.

Looking ahead, Wazaa Bet plans to explore cross-selling opportunities between its sportsbook and casino offerings ahead of the FIFA World Cup, positioning the operator to capitalise on anticipated seasonal spikes in betting activity.
