Botswana.- Avani Gaborone Casino is stepping up the game in Botswana’s luxury event scene with the much-anticipated Winter Soirée 2.0. The popular event combines fashion, beauty, fine dining and late-night entertainment with the excitement of the casino.
The event is a partnership between Avani Gaborone Casino and Bambi‑Elle Creations, a premier event planning and lifestyle brand, known for organising high-end fashion, beauty and cultural events. This year’s theme is “Embrace the Magic of All Things Winter” and is scheduled for Saturday, July 26.
Samantha Bogopa, Avani’s PR and Communications Manager, said the event is bringing together beauty enthusiasts, fashion devotees and food lovers. “Guests can expect live skincare and makeup demos, a fashion runway, gourmet winter treats and that unmistakable casino energy that defines Avani Gaborone”, said Bogopa, according to the Botswana Gazette.
Day and night fun
The event unfolds in stylish phases. Daytime guests can indulge in live activations from brands like Nora Cosmetics, Clicks Botswana and the renowned Dr Thusang Gure. They will be offering skincare tips, giveaways and hands-on beauty demos. Fashion then takes centre stage, with designers Berry Heart Creations and Shangu unveiling exclusive winter collections in a runway-meets-marketplace format.
When the fashion show draws to a close, well-known singer Kearoma Rantao will set the stage with a live performance. Popular DJ Lebgee will then take over, mixing house beats and relaxed rhythms that create the perfect backdrop for an elegant afterparty lasting well past midnight.
The blend of soul, house and lounge music will keep the rhythm steady as guests move effortlessly between the fashion lounges and blackjack tables.
