betPawa’s Locker Room Bonus to empower more players across Africa in 2026
Building on a record-breaking 2025, betPawa plans to expand its Locker Room Bonus program in 2026 to reach more football and basketball players, teams and communities across the continent.
Uganda.- betPawa is taking grassroots sports to the next level across Africa in 2026. After a record-breaking 2025, the company’s Locker Room Bonus (LRB) initiative is set to expand, rewarding even more football and basketball players and staff across the continent.
Last year, the LRB empowered more than 7,000 players and staff from 291 teams, distributing more than $700,000 in bonuses and over 20,000 instant rewards. The program spanned key markets including Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Cameroon, Nigeria, Uganda, Malawi and Rwanda, boosting motivation, strengthening team pride and providing tangible support for grassroots football and basketball.
Looking ahead, betPawa plans to expand the Locker Room Bonus in 2026 to additional countries and more players. The company intends to partner with local leagues and sports associations to deepen its impact and support the development of African sports talent.
Borah Omary, spokesperson for betPawa, said: “2025 showed us the power of strategic partnerships and instant rewards to drive real change. In 2026, we aim to bring the Locker Room Bonus to more players and markets, continuing our commitment to supporting grassroots football and basketball.”
The initiative underscores betPawa’s focus on sustainable sports development and community engagement, positioning the Locker Room Bonus as a long-term program rather than a one-off sponsorship.
As the LRB grows in 2026, betPawa continues to reward victories while empowering communities, strengthening teams and shaping the future of African football and basketball.
